Seeking information on the MAULDIN families of Jones County from mid to late 1700's. In particular Tucker MAULDIN. Looking at the 1790 and 1800 census of Jones County two young males were added between those years. Index of 1810 shows none as does the 1820 but looking there are two young males by names of Tucker MAULDIN and John MAULDIN. I suspect the two born in the 1790's. Tucker migrated to Twiggs county GA. But unknown what happened to John. Tucker was born in 1797 there in Jones county. married to Hannah born about 1797 she died in Pulaski County GA. in 1879. Looking for any info on the senior Tucker MAULDIN born in the mid 1700's possibly there in N.C. There appear many land transactions between John Mauldin, Tucker Mauldin and Henry MAULDIN. Trying to tie all these in. TKS tsmauldin@alltel.net T.S. MAULDIN
