I am looking for a Sarah THOMPSON from Jones Co. who married a WHALEY and moved into Onlsow Co. I would like to post a query for James S. MILLER. According to the 1860 Dougherty County, Georgia Census he was born in Jones County, North Caroloina. He was 52 in 1860 so he would have been born about 1808. I believe that he was married twice. The lady that is shown, Eliza S., on the 1850 Twiggs County, Georgia Census I believe is his second wife. Eliza appears again on the 1860 Dougherty County, Georgia Census. It says that she was born in Twiggs County, GA. I am looking for information on who his first wife might be. I wild guess would be the surname COURT since one of his daughters had that name and not from marriage. I would also like info on parents and siblings. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sincerely,

I am seeking information on the descendants and relatives of George Henry MILLER (b1840 in Duplin Co,d1920). On his death certificate, it stated that his father was Daniel MILLER and his mother was from Africa. He was married twice. The children of the 1st marriage were Mattie, Frank, Alex, Julia, Herman, Caroline, Emma, and George, Jr. His second wife was Dollie Ann JONES (b1871 in Duplin Co to Sarah C. JONES, d1960). Their children were Katie, Ada, Dorothy, Josephine, Richard, John, Dollie, Eva, Robert Jones, and Easter Peterson. Dollie and George moved to Mt. Olive, NC. I believe we are also related to the MCKIEVERS/MCIVERS/MCKEEVORS.
