Has anyone in Jones County come across listings of Bible records published in FAMILY PUZZLERS, the weekly genealogy magazine edited by Mary Bondurant Warren from 1964 until 1998? I thought that HERITAGE PAPERS went out of business when Mrs. Warren stopped publishing Puzzlers the end of 1998. Not so!! I recently found the new websites for HERITAGE PAPERS as well as for FAMILY PUZZLERS, TNG, the monthly magazine edited by Mrs. Warren's daughter Amy Warren Sanders! Most of the items that Heritage Papers used to advertise in their annual catalog are still available, including back issues of the quarterly magazines GEORGIA GENEALOGIST and CAROLINA GENEALOGIST, lots of historic maps, as well as source materials for Virginia, North and South Carolina, and Georgia. Some bound volumes of Family Puzzlers are still available. For Heritage Papers, go to http://www.galaxymall.com/books/heritagepapers For Family Puzzlers, The Next Generation, go to http://www.galaxymall.com/books/familypuzzlers I just thought you'd like to know! Looking for the following individuals: Parents of (those listed below are siblings): Claude Lief Heath Polly Heath Molly Heath Delia Heath
Claude Lief Heath married Betty Hill children of Claude and Betty: 1. Felix Thomas Heath b. 9 Oct 1898 d. 10 Jun 1972 Felix m. Hattie Catherine Batts b. 10 Apr 1901 2. Furney Heath
I would be more specific with dates but I cannot seem to find anything. I've checked census records for Lenior and know they didn't reside there (which was first suggested). The family said it must then be Jones. Apparently, Claude Lief and Betty both died young, Claude being in his 30's.
Two other names were given to me. Joshia Heath, who resided here and moved to England in the 1930's and Obidiah Heath. I do not know the connection to this family but according to relatives (this is my husbands grandmother's line) there is a connection. If anyone recognizes any name please let me know.
