FULFORD-Hargett. Francis Joseph "Frank" FULFORD, druggist in New Bern NC married Ida HARGETT of Silverdale NC in Jones Co. around 1875. They had two children, Joseph Clarence and Julia May FULFORD. My grandfather's (Walter FULFORD) older brother, Frank FULFORD died when he was 30 years old and left Ida Hargett Fulford a young widow with two tiny children. Does anyone know what may have happened to them - where they went - if she remarried - if the children grew up, married, and had descendants? I would like to know the family if they are still alive. Isaac Robert TAYLOR (b. Dec 8, 1860 d. Oct 23, 1923) m. Mary Elizabeth JONES (b. Dec 11, 1860 d. Sep 4, 1936) at the Jones/Lenoir County line on Mar 23, 1923. Both are buried in Hargett's Cemetery on Hwy 258, at Hargett's Crossroads, in Jones Co. Isaac Robert was the son of Isler TAYLOR (dates unknown), I believe of Lenoir Co., and Molsey Jane BYRD (dates unknown), also believed to be of Lenoir Co. Mary Elizabeth was the daughter of Everett JONES (b. Apr 1, 1834 d. Aug 6, 1888) and Mary HOWARD (b. May 31, 1839 d. Aug 10, 1915). Also buried in Hargett's Cemetery. Looking for further information on any of these individuals. Willing to exchange information.

Would like further details on the William METTS who paid 10 shillings for a marriage license in Jones Co, on 1 Jan 1785. Could anyone shed some light on this William METTS. I have a William who was listed in the 1790 N.C. census in Jones Co, but who later moved to Georgia. Interested in ANY METTS records in N.C.

I am researching Brice A. RIGGS (b. 1852) of Jones Co. m. Sarah (Salley) RUNNELLS. They were married ca. 1878. They had three children (Isabel, Sadie, and Fannie). Sadie RIGGS (b. 1881) married William Henry RHODES (b. Jan. 1881 Jones Co.). They married ca. 1895. William and Sadie are my grandparents. I don't have any more information back on William Henry RHODES. I am seeking any information or connections. What METTS family tree does Asa METTS belong to who appeared in the 1800 Jones Co census with the following: 1 male 16-26; 2 fem 45+; 1 fem 26-45; 1 m 10-16; 1 f 10-16; 3 m under 10; 1 fem under 10? Could Emery(Emory) and Logan METTS be his sons? Emory stayed in Jones Co; however, Logan moved to Alabama. Could Asa METTS possibly be "Lacey", a son mentioned in will of George METTS whose will mentioned sons James, Lacey, and Lovit, and who also probably had at least 2 daughters? Would love to share research.

I am researching the WILLIAM BRUMLEY (b.1780 NC) line. His wife HETTY or HETTA (b. 1788 NC) said to be a Counts. I have located the KHUINCE family in the 1790 census, ie CHRISTOPHER, GEORGE JR., and SR., JOHN JR. and SR., and PHILLIP. I believe this family later moved to Grainger Co., TN. Any information connecting HETTY to them will be appreciated.

I am trying to clear up a question and maybe you can help. It involves Mary Isler and William Rhem. All the information that I have shows that she was married only to Joseph Brock in 1767. Others researchers tell me that she was also married to William but can not provide proof. I would appreciate it if someone could clear this up.

I am searching for information on Francis HARRISON (circa 1802-1861). He owned property on the north side of Trent River on west side of Joshuas Resolution. He married Mary MEADOWS (or MEADORS) before 1831. They moved to Iowa about 1856. Francis parents may be Ephriam HARRISON and Polly CONNER.
