BENJAMIN RIGDON SMITH deposes he was at the house at Willock Mills of JAMES
WILLIAMS on Sunday, July 7, and JAMES wished his sisters to have his whole
estate divided among his sisters, with the exception of a maintenance for his
mother out of it. He had hogs, cattle, sheep and debts owing him, William said.
He wished no one of his negroes sold and he admonished his sisters, CAMPBELL,
LAVENDER, and SHINE, not to sell them. Sworn to before WILLIAM ORME, J.P.
