   In the name of God, Amen.  I Anne Crutchfield being of weak body, but of
sound mind Give many thanks to God for the same & calling to mind the most
?????? of the Body, do this 12th day of October in the
year of our Lord 1802 make & ordain this my last Will & Testament, that is
to say------??????? I will that my just debts be paid-----

   Item--- I give & bequeath to my Daughter Mary Hazard thirty two of three
quarters acres
of land which I hold in my own right in Jones County, to her, her heirs &
assigns forever-----  I also give unto my said Daughter Mary Hazard a Mare
now with Foal, a young horse, a cow & yearling, The whole of my stock of
hogs, two feather Beds, Bedsteads & furniture, a loom & gears, a [wheel
and?] Cards, also the remainder of my household & kitchen furniture, also
the whole of my plantation utensils, & the whole of my wearing apparel,
also the whole of my outstanding debts as well as what money I have by me,
to her & her heirs & assigns for ever.

   Item--- I give & bequeath unto my Sons Eusebius Crutchfield, Richard
Crutchfield, Philip Crutchfield & James Hill, each one Shilling sterling of
my Estate & no more, to them, their Heirs & assigns for ever.---
---Lastly---- I nominate & appoint my friend John Harrison & my Daughter
Mary Hazard Executor & Executrix of this my last Will & Testament,
disannuling[?] all former Wills by me made, ratifying & confirming this
only as my last Will & Testament------In witness I hereunto set my hand &
affix my Seal this day & year above written-------

   Signed, sealed, publish'd & pronounced by Ann Crutchfield Testator as
her last Will & Testament in presence of us who in presence of each other
hath signed the same.

State of North Carolina Jones County Court, February Term 1805---
   Then in as the foregoing last Will & Testament of Ann Crutchfield dec'd
duly proved in this Court by the Oath of James Pollock one of the
subseribins Witnesses thereto ordered to be recorded at the same time
Mary ????? the Executrix therein named qualified as such agreeable to
?????----  Ordered that Letters
Testament[ary?] [issue?] accordingly---
