Mark-Run away slave

Was committed to this gaol, on the 29th of May last, as a run away, a Negro fellow, who says his
name is Mark, and belongs to a Mr. Clement Pritchet, of Jones county: He is of a yellowish 
complexion, five feet ten or eleven inches high, has a large scar on his right thigh that proceeded
from a burn, and appears to be about twenty-five years of age. The owner is desired to prove 
property, pay charges and take him away.
