The following is a PARTIAL listing of the tombstones in the Philyaw Cemetery in Jones County, NC.
Location on Richlands Rd. Take Hwy 258 South from Kinston until you get to Hargetts Crossroads. Turn left on Hwy 41 and go about 8 miles to Comfort. Go past the Fire Station about 1/2 mile and turn right on Richlands Hwy. You will go past the fourth residence on the left and will be a dirt path beside a double wide. The cemetery is down that path. You can see it from the road.
